Our lobbies reopened on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, for normal business hours. For the safety of our employees and customers we ask that you comply with the recommendations set forth by the CDC and endorsed by our state and national leaders regarding COVD-19. Specific to our operations at First Southern Bank, here are some practical guidelines:

  • If you are running a fever or have reason to suspect that you have been exposed to COVID-19 or other contagious illness, we ask that you please take advantage of our drive thru facilities or our digital banking options.
  • Our employees are encouraged to wear masks and/or gloves and we recommend the use of masks by our customers.
  • Please be mindful of physical spacing and maintain the recommended six feet of separation wherever possible.
  • We encourage the use of hand sanitizer, which is available at all locations.

As a convenience to our customers, we continue to offer the opportunity to bank by appointment and to receive curbside services for some transactions. Give us a call at 256-718-4200 to discuss your best option.

When visiting a First Southern Bank lobby, you may leave your name and phone number with our Receptionist or Customer Service Representative if you would like to wait in your vehicle. You will receive a call when your banker has completed their appointment and their office is available.
